The Project prescribes to gather information and to prepare summary edition – catalog – about the most important and interesting projects financed by the Latvian Environment Protection Fund during last 10 years. Catalogue will reflect successful examples of projects financed by LEPF and will create bases for takeover of good practices.

In September 2006 the Latvian Environment Protection Fund will celebrate 10 years of existence. During this time there are financed many important projects in such fields like waste treatment, the protection of air, water, soil and ground, the retention of environmental biodiversity, environmental education, monitoring and information systems, the recovery and rehabilitation of environment, radiation and nuclear safety, the research and valuation of environmental and natural resources.

During this project information about the projects financed by the LEPF will be gathered, most interesting and important projects will be selected. Project coordinator and photographer will attend several projects. On the end of the project catalogue will be disseminated and special presentation event will take place.
