llustrated handbook "Production of Energetic Woodchips from Wood Processing Waste" has been publicised within the project "Baltic Biomass Network". The brochure is prepared by the specialists of the Latvian State Forest Research Institute "Silava" and artist Rūta Kazāka.

The book in a simple language explains what is energetic wood, how to prepare, process and transport wood waste, what are wood chipping equipment, storage places etc. The information is illustrated with coloured pictures.
The handbook will be useful for students, forest owners and managers - to receive basic information on efficient collection of wood waste, its processing and usage for production of woodchips.

The handbook is issued within the project "Baltic Biomass Network" of the European Community initiative INTERREG III B programme, implemented by "Vides projekti" Ltd.
