An informative brochure "Heracleum Sosnowskyi – the dangerous aggressor" has been published within the framework of the project "Preparing society for Heracleum sosnowskyi distribution’s determination".

The brochure provides information on how Heracleum Sosnowskyi came into Latvia and expanded throughout the country as well as includes short description of the plant and the dangers that it is causing.
The publication also gives advises how to provide first aid after coming into contact with the plant, clarifies main methods of restricting Heracleum sosnowskyi’s extension and gives work safety instructions.

The brochure is send to 15 districts, where Heracleum Sosnowskyi is distributed most of all as well as with the assistance from the company "Latvian Post" distributed through post offices throughout Latvia. The brochure is distributed through libraries as well. The publication is available also in State Environmental Service, The Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre, Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments and The Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Latvia.
