In this week will be developed consultative expert council for providing participation in elaboration of Heracleum sosnowskyi distribution’s determination methods and analysis. The first meeting of the council will be in the frame of project "Ensuring the introduction of the environmental protection interests into the elimination process of Heracleum sosnowskyi"on June, 28-th.

At this moment, together with scientists and practical workers, we are preparing scientifically based recommendations for Heracleum sosnowskyi distribution’s elimination on farmlands and areas with certain environmental restrictions. These recommendations will include information about biology, ecology work safety and first aid. The presentation of the recommendations first redaction is planned in the consultative expert meeting.

In the frame of project "Preparing society for Heracleum sosnowskyi distribution’s determination" to promote understanding of society and distribution’s determination successful process and decrease number of accidents, there were published informative publication „Intrude hogweed” (authors: Aigars Oļukalns and Inese Kukle) in the portal TVNET and in few Latvian regional newspapers. In the magazine "Saminieks" is started an issue of publications – "ABC of Heracleum sosnowskyi distribution’s determination" (author: Andris Bērziņš).

In the nearest future "Vides projekti" will preparing for publishing informative brochure "Heracleum sosnowskyi – dangerous aggressor" (10 000 ex.) and it will be distribute in informative seminars, through the post – offices and municipalities in all territory of Latvia.
