Within the framework of the Baltic Sea region INTERREG III B neighborhood program project “The Baltic Biomass Network”, a meeting about Spatial Planning and the Development of Bioenergy took place on February 15 at 10.00 at Tukums city council . Project executors from the state “Environmental Projects” Ltd., representatives from Tukums city council, “Regional Projects” Ltd., which supervise the development of territory planning of Tukums district, a representative from Riga district council, as well as outside lecturer Gaidis Klavs (LSA Institute of Physical Power) attended

The purpose of the meeting was to introduce development planners of Tukums district with the project and the results already achieved within the framework such as the mapping of biomass resources, SVID analysis and further activities, as also to determine the situation in the field of spatial planning in Tukums district. Further integration of project results in district planning documents was discussed.
