This week there will be an opportunity to visit an exhibition entitled “Environment and Energy” in Kipsala for those, who care about the environment we live in. You will be able to see the latest environment-friendly technologies and familiarize yourself with engineering solutions in the field of renewable energy production. There will be the possibility to find out how to increase power efficiency and deal with household and industrial sewage, as well as explore new solutions for household and hazardous waste management. “Environmental Projects” will, of course, also participate in the exhibition.

During the exhibition Pigman, a fighter for cleanness in the forests of Latvia, will present with an award the most active fighters against littering in the forests – reporters, media, ministers, public organizations and enterprises.

During the exhibition there is a smaller exhibition open on secular trees in Saldus and Dobele areas. In the past and this year the organization “Mine of Natural Rarities” led by Guntis Eniņš carefully searched the areas of Dobele and Saldus and found a total of 500 secular trees. It was a wonderful surprise even for lifelong explorers of secular trees. Part of the surprise can be seen in the exhibition.
